December 31, 2008 By John Nepolitan Nick Vena (Morristown, NJ) wasted no time rewriting the sophomore indoor shot put record , unloading a pair of record setting bombs at the 13th Jack O’Leary Lid Lifter. Vena unloaded throws of 66-6 and 66-9½ to crush the national and New Jersey sophomore records, and the meet record in only his first meet of the young season.
