Clay to Participate in USOC’s “Britain Bound” Program
INDIANAPOLIS -- Bryan Clay (Glendora, Calif.), the 2008 Olympic decathlon gold medalist, will be teaming up with the United States Olympic Committee and VisitBritain for the “Team USA: Britain Bound” program in anticipation for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Kids Run the Nation Grant Applications Due
The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) developed the Kids Run the Nation Fund in 2007 to assist organizations interested in implementing or currently hosting youth running programs. Small grants from the Kids Run the Nation Fund are awarded on an annual basis through an application and selection process.
Claye Leaps to Milestone in Horizontal Jumps
DAEGU, South Korea - Twenty-year-old Will Claye became just the second American in history to qualify into the finals of the both the men’s horizontal jumps at the World Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday.
Jenny Simpson wins World Champs 1,500 meters in Daegu

It was in the semi-final of the 1,500 meters that Jenny Simpson showed her stuff. Running a super last fifty meters, Simpson, who stayed fairly close, moved up and went by on the outside and made the final, setting her up for the final of her life.
