Regional Race Report: Charlottesville Fall Classic 10K (VA)
October 29, 2008 from Washington Running Report (VA) Four African runners (two Kenyan and two Ethiopians) and two local runners took the victory at the First Annual Charlottesville Fall Classic Road Championship. The men's field was dominated by Nicholas Kurgat of Kenya. Nicholas trains in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, but is originally from Kenya. Nicholas winning time was 30:06.

October 28, 2008 from Colorado Runner (CO) Adams State College won their seventh straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's cross country championship title and their fourth consecutive RMAC men's cross country championship title. The 2008 RMAC Cross Country Championships were held Oct. 25 in Grand Junction, Colo. at the 27 1/4 Road Motocross Area.
