Patience Knight of Texas Tech Wins 2008 Honda Inspiration Award Patience Knight, an NCAA Division I track & field thrower at Texas Tech, has been named the 2008 recipient of the 20th annual Honda Inspiration Award. This award is given annually to an outstanding female college athlete who has overcome adversity to excel in her sport.
